Women’s Hormones, Gut Health &
Whole-Body Wellbeing
Looking at the whole picture - not just the symptom!
Your body isn't made up of separate systems.
Your hormones influence your gut. Your gut influences hormone metabolism. Stress can affect digestion, sleep, energy and your menstrual cycle. Nutrition influences thyroid function, neurotransmitters and hormones. Poor digestion can affect how well you absorb and utilise nutrients. And when you're depleted for long enough, your whole system can start to feel like it's running on empty.
This is why I don't believe in treating the body in isolation.
When we focus only on the symptom - or only on one system - we can miss the bigger picture.
My approach is about stepping back, looking at how the pieces fit together, and asking a more useful question:
Why is this happening in the first place?
A holistic approach to your health
I work predominantly with women who are experiencing concerns around hormones, gut health, fatigue, stress and emotional wellbeing - often where several of these overlap.
You may have come in because of bloating, PMS, anxiety or exhaustion, but that doesn't necessarily mean the problem begins in your gut, your hormones or your nervous system alone.
There may be a number of contributing factors.
Your menstrual cycle may be changing alongside your digestion.
Your energy may have declined after a prolonged period of stress.
Your gut symptoms may have appeared alongside hormonal changes.
You may have been told your blood tests are "normal", yet you still don't feel like yourself.
Or perhaps you've been trying to manage individual symptoms for years without ever having someone step back and look at the whole picture.
This is where I come in.
I look at the connections between your symptoms, your history, your lifestyle, your nutrition and the different systems of your body - rather than putting each symptom into its own box.

I also work with more complex and multi-system presentations, including thyroid concerns, histamine intolerance and situations where symptoms don't fit neatly into one category.
The common thread isn't a particular diagnosis.
It's looking at the person as a whole.
Beyond band-aid solutions
I don't believe that every symptom needs another supplement.
And I don't believe that finding a single "problem" explains everything.
Sometimes the answer is relatively simple. Sometimes it's not.
My role is to investigate what may be contributing to the way you're feeling, identify the areas that need support, and create a plan that is appropriate for you - rather than applying the same protocol to everyone with the same symptom.
This might involve looking at nutrition, digestion, the gut microbiome, hormones, nutrient status, stress physiology, lifestyle, sleep, inflammation, thyroid function or other relevant systems.
Where appropriate, I also use functional testing to investigate further.
No guessing. No one-size-fits-all protocols.
Testing isn't about ordering every test available. It's about choosing investigations that may help us understand what is actually happening beneath the surface, when they are clinically appropriate.
I then take the time to interpret those results in the context of you, your history and your symptoms - rather than looking at a result in isolation.
Evidence meets traditional wisdom.
My approach draws from both evidence-based medicine and traditional naturopathic wisdom.
I value the research and scientific understanding we have available to us, while also recognising that health isn't always as neat as a reference range or a single study.
Traditional medicine has long understood the importance of food, plants, lifestyle, rest and the interconnectedness of the body.
Modern research continues to expand our understanding of these same relationships - from the gut microbiome and hormone metabolism to nutritional biochemistry and the effects of chronic stress on the body.
I don't see these approaches as opposing ideas.
I use the best available evidence alongside clinical experience, traditional knowledge and - most importantly - the individual sitting in front of me.
Your treatment is tailored to you
There is no universal "hormone protocol".
There is no single supplement that everyone with fatigue needs.
And what works beautifully for one person may not be appropriate for another.
Your prescriptions and recommendations are therefore tailored to your physiology, your symptoms, your history, your goals and what we discover along the way.
Depending on what you need, this may include personalised nutrition, lifestyle strategies, herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation and functional testing.
The goal isn't to give you more things to do.
It's to work out what matters most, and focus there.
You don't have to keep treating symptoms one at a time.
If you've been told that everything looks "normal" but you still don't feel well...
If you've tried supplements, diets or protocols without getting to the bottom of what's going on...
Or if you've simply reached a point where you want someone to step back and look at the whole picture -
I'd love to help you investigate what's happening.
Start with a free discovery call.
No pressure. Just an opportunity to talk through what's going on and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
What working together looks like
Discovery Call
Free
Not sure whether I'm the right practitioner for you?
A discovery call gives us the opportunity to briefly discuss what's going on, what you're looking for and whether I may be able to help.
There's no obligation to book.
Initial Consultation
75 minutes
This is where we start putting the pieces together.
We'll take a detailed look at your health history, family history, symptoms, menstrual cycle, digestion, nutrition, stress, emotional wellbeing, sleep, medications and supplements, as well as anything else that may be relevant to your health.
Rather than focusing on one isolated concern, we'll look for the patterns and connections that may be contributing to the bigger picture.
Where appropriate, we may also discuss functional testing or further investigations.
You'll leave with a clearer understanding of what we're looking at and a personalised plan for moving forward.
Follow-Up Consultation
30–45 minutes
Your health isn't static, and your treatment shouldn't be either.
Follow-up consultations allow us to review how you're responding, assess changes in symptoms and testing where relevant, troubleshoot what's not working, and refine your plan as we go.
